Parallel universe

One of the reasons I love writing and reading category romance (apart from the glamorous settings and gorgeous men) is the sheer escapism from the mundanities every day life. Obviously the hero is so fabulously wealthy that he has someone to clean his houses and fill his fridges for him, but have you ever read a romance novel where the heroine stacks the dishwasher, does the laundry or takes the rubbish out? And has any hero ever snored? I wonder...

Lucy,

Robin Kaye has a contemp. romance coming out titled "Romeo, Romeo." The snippet indicates that the hero likes to clean and cook, but I haven't read the book yet, so I don't know how much is covered in the book.

Hmm, interesting, Barbara. I've just googled a review of Romeo, Romeo and it looks like fun - sort of role reversal. I must say, the hero does sound yummy:

Nick Romeo is every woman's fantasy - tall, dark, handsome, rich, really good in bed, AND he loves to cook and clean ...

Too good to be true? I might have to get a copy!!
