I'm stumped

I'm trying to complete a biography and interview for the authors' pages on the M&B/eharlequin sites. There are two questions which have me stumped:

a) What tip would you give your readers to make their lives more romantic?
b) What is the one thing you've always wanted to do, but never had the courage to try?

My immediate thoughts were a) Me? I'm not one of the most romantic people on the planet and am therefore hardly qualified to give tips and b) Naturally the only things I can think of are either illegal or immoral.

But I don't think this is quite what they're after so unless anyone has any better ideas, I shall probably have to plump for a) take time to listen and b) bungy jumping.

That would stump me too I'm afraid. More romantic? Um, more scented candles? More alpha males? More chocolate? Mmmm, chocolate...

The one thing I've always wanted to do... Sadly not bungy jumping because I hate heights. Um...go into space. That would be cool.

Chocolate might work, especially if smeared strategically.

I can't think of anything I'd less like to do than bungy jump. Space would be cool though.

Oh dear
a) has completely stumped me, I suppose I think romance is either there or it isn't, it can't be manufactured...
b) Fly a plane. I have a friend who is a pilot and would be willing to take me up and let me have the controls but the idea absolutely terrifies me!

More romantic? Be more spontaneous. Not the kind that requires sitting down and planning, not THAT kind of spontaneity!!

And personally, I've always wanted to sing karaoke. Sober. Done it plenty of times with drink in me but sober? Nah, not brave enough.

a) I'd have to go with the chocolate - every time.

b)??????? Sorry. I used to work for a helicopter company and did envy the pilots. But not flying one myself had nothing to do with not being courageous, it was more to do with lack of funds - the cost for qualifying was mind-boggling.

Ooh... tough questions.

I think Lorraine's right with spontaneity and actually, I've always wanted to Bunji Jump at Queenstown, NZ but WAY too chicken!

BTW Lucy... how's the website coming along?

Haha, not-so-spontaneous manufactured romance... Hmm, sounds like Valentine's Day to me!

For me b) is more the expense thing too (although karaoke sober? *shudder*). But last night I did think that one thing I really don't have the courage for but would quite like to have done is laser eye surgery.

The website isn't going anywhere, Rach. I need to call in the professionals. At the mo, though there isn't really anything to put on it!

Gosh, what easy questions

a) move in with George Clooney
b) ask George Clooney to marry me

I thought it was obvious!

Of course! Silly me. George Clooney and diamonds (preferably in combo). Perfect.
